Manual wet cleaning of floor surfaces is often time-consuming and labour-intensive. The Scrubmaster B5 is a walk-behind scrubber-drier thatvpays off even when cleaning very small areas of up to 400 m2 – through increased cleaning quality achieved in a much shorter time. With innovative cleaning technology, ease-of-use and excellent manoeuvrability as well as a compact design, the Scrubmaster B5 is the new entry-level model for professional floor cleaning.
Thanks to its innovative ergonomic design, from the operating handle to the cleaning head and squeegee, the Scrubmaster B5 is extremely manoeuvrable in all directions – comparable to the flexibility of a manual mop.
This allows the operator to use the machine to clean areas that are normally inaccessible to scrubber-driers. The flat design of the cleaning head also enables cleaning under furniture, barriers and flat or built-over objects/surfaces and, thanks to the triangular shape, even in corners – i.e. in problem areas that were previously inaccessible.
The innovative, double-orbital cleaning technology prevents the machine from advancing automatically, so that the operator is in control at all times. This allows the operator to determine the working speed and to control the Scrubmaster B5 sensitively, even close to edges and in very confined spaces. Hako’s new walk-behind scrubber-drier thus combines the advantages of manual and mechanical floor cleaning in a compact, high-performance and intelligent form.
With an area performance of up to 1,300 m2/h and a working width of 43cm, the operator can cover a large area in a short time with excellent cleaning results. With an empty weight of 20.5kg, the Scrubmaster B5 is easy to transport via its wheels and can be easily moved from one job site to the next – for example, downstairs or by car – using the carrying handle provided. Hako sets new standards in the daily use of the Scrubmaster B5 – for example, the solution and recovery tanks can be easily removed and simply filled, emptied and cleaned at the washbasin.
Intelligent solutions make fatigue-free working possible. The operator should feel comfortable during daily cleaning. Other components such as the lithium-ion battery with battery charge indicator are also easily accessible and can be changed without tools. The Scrubmaster B5 can be operated intuitively and easily via the clearly arranged control panel, which also reduces the training time for new operators. When used in noise-sensitive areas such as day-care centres, schools or doctors’ surgeries, the solution and recovery tank can be optionally equipped with the Hako-AntiBac® antibacterial tank coating for reduced bacteria and odour development. At the same time, all components carrying the recovered water are removable or can easily be cleaned.

- The business can usually deduct the full cost of lease rentals from taxable income
- You do not have to worry about maintenance and breakdowns
- Should circumstances change, upgrades to the equipment are available
- After the initial term of the agreement, the ageing asset can either be returned or extended to suit needs at that time
