Clean Britain Awards
Hako Machines Ltd were delighted to attend the 25th CIWM Clean Britain Awards at The National Motorcycle Museum on the 26th of November and sponsor the award for the Small Local Authorities category.
Clean Britain celebrates the success of local authorities in maintaining high quality local environments that instill a sense of civic pride in the community. They also recognise outstanding contributions made to the improvement of the local environment and street cleansing.
Clean Britain Awards Winners use Hako Citymaster sweepers
Nottingham City Council took the National Winner’s Prize for the Cleanest City in the UK as well as triumphing in the category for local authorities with over 200,000 residents.
One of the highlights in the Council’s application was their investment this year in street cleansing, with fully trained staff and brand new Hako equipment – three Citymaster 1250 sweepers as well as two Citymaster 1250 Streetwashers for deep cleansing.
Other winners on the day included North Ayrshire Council, London Borough of Enfield and Broadland District Council who each use Hako Citymaster sweepers to keep their streets clean and tidy.
