Pricing Statement 2019
At Hako Ltd, we are committed to providing the best possible quality products and support to our customers at competitive and fair prices. As one of the leading manufacturers of premium outdoor cleaning solutions for commercial and industrial environments, we sometimes face unwanted change, expenses and obstacles that arise in our industry.
Unfortunately, due to challenging managing costs from 2018, and the impact of the change in the exchange rate, we have had to make some difficult decisions regarding our pricing. As such, we have made the decision to increase our prices from 2019, in-line with our annual pricing review. You can find information on this below:
- Machines – 5% increase across the board
- Parts – an average of 5%
- Service – Advantage and Advantage Plus no adjustment on labour, just parts will increase
- Non-Contract – 11% increase on labour rate plus parts increase
We will honour our annual pricing review strategy however the likelihood of a hard Brexit may see a marginal increase again from April as a result of any import duty required.
It appears that some major global providers saw an increase in the summer of 2018 and will now increase again in January, estimates range from as much as 11%, although the average seems to be around 8%.
After several years of marginal or no increase, we have had to take this decision to ensure the sustainability of HML in delivering robust and efficient services to our customer base. We believe that we still offer a solid return on any investment.
