Objective of The Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales and drive revenue growth within their designated region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management, with the ability to identify sales opportunities and develop effective strategies to enhance performance.
Nature and Scope of the Role:
- Delivering agreed annual revenue and margin targets by developing and implementing strategic sales plans
- Maximising Hako’s potential revenue by ensuring all product and service options are considered
- Maintaining a strong knowledge of all Hako products and services
- Maintaining a strong knowledge of all competitor products and service offerings and all key benefits that distinguish Hako from those competitor products and services
- Providing professional on-site support to the key and strategic accounts as requested by the Sales Director
- Developing an in-depth understanding of the designated territory and all likely current and future sales potential
- Proactively identifying and developing total solutions for currently unrecognized needs within the local customer base and market sectors
- Staying up-to-date with all local market/competitor and industry developments and ensure that the senior management team are briefed on their likely impact
- Operating at all times within the Company’s policies and procedures and to ensure that decision-making, both commercial and tactical, is made at the correct level
- Ensuring the full utilisation of all available sales tools and to comply with required reporting policies and procedures at all times
- Taking responsibility for understanding and agreeing action plan for own development needs
- Offering leadership in developing customer focus for other non-customer facing colleagues
Skills
- Proven sales experience preferably within a similar industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using Salesforce or other CRM software for managing customer interactions
- Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- A results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving targets and driving success.

Pay: From £36,000.00 per year
